About the Property

This property features a fabulous custom built home, a private 13-acre lake, serene woods with hiking/biking trails, open fields for outdoor activities and sports, abundant wildlife to observe and enjoy, and so much more!

One of the most distinctive features of the house is that it is built nearly on the lake, with the lowest of three levels of decks serving as a 1000 sq ft dock to access swimming and water sports right from the second kitchen! Inside the home, a two story wall of glass windows and 6 beautiful sets of french and sliding doors afford such an unobstructed view it’s easy to become one with the lake.

The home’s lowest level includes approximately 1500 square feet of living space. A full kitchen, several dining options and a custom built bar height table, large living space featuring sleeper sofas, reclining chairs, a 65” TV, a full bath, and spa treatment options with a sauna and even a steam room for your maximum relaxation! Stunning hardwood surrounds you on the main level. A lovely staircase greets you and the hue warms you everywhere you look – ceilings and rafters, walls and flooring.

The open layout and vaulted ceilings allow air flow to be circulated with the many doors and windows and two ceiling fans, and the two story wall of glass provides a lovely view of the lake. This main living room boasts plenty of comfy furniture for relaxing and visiting. Adjoining this is the den with a 65” TV, a pullout queen sofa and more reclining chairs. You will find a lovely cherrywood kitchen stocked with basic utensils, all appliances you would need, a dry bar, an island with seating for 4, and a dining table that seats up to 10. There are also 2 half baths and a laundry on this floor.

Four doors off this level guide you to the enormous wrap around deck. This space features 2 octagon picnic tables and a relaxing swing to enjoy the stunning sunrise with your coffee, or sunsets with your family. However you choose to relax here, the ambiance of this deck any time of day is unparalleled.

When you’re done relaxing, a lot of excitement awaits you in the Game Room! Attached to the main level we have an 1100 square foot converted space that currently sports a pool table, shuffleboard, air hockey table, 75” TV, kitchenette with bar and more! Enjoy a game of basketball outside or explore and enjoy the great outdoors on the massive property. Hiking trails are marked with green paint. Property boundaries are marked with purple paint. (Please do not go onto the neighbors property.)

The masterful staircase leads up to the sleeping level with a TV lounge, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a loft.

The sleeping level has 4 bedrooms and a loft—

Master #1 – 1 King bed. This room has a glass doors leading to a private deck with beautiful lake view, a large full bathroom, and a loft above with 2 twin XL beds
Bedroom #2 – 1 Queen and 3 twin XL beds
Bedroom #3 – 1 Queen bed
Bedroom #4 – King bed can be divided into two XL twin beds. This room also looks out on the lake, has the same large glass view and a lovely little private deck.

From all three floors there is a total of 10 beds. Sleeps 13 in beds + several pull out couches and recliners for additional sleeping areas (max capacity 21 people) Linens and shower towels are included, but please bring your own swimming towels. The soothing breeze off the lake keeps the cabin air fresh and cool. There is no A/C, but it’s typically not an issue.

About Hidden Lake

At Hidden Lake we have a beach area set up with canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, row boats and a paddle boat for your enjoyment. There are many lifejackets on site for our guests’ safety. Please check ahead of time with us to ensure we have enough for your group’s needs.

Near the beach is an open field perfect for group sports such as ultimate frisbee, football, or use the provided volleyball net for some exciting friendly competition.

The pristine lake is spring and stream fed. It has a healthy population of fish to include largemouth bass, perch, crappie, bluegill and bullheads. Catch and release fishing for bass is allowed, but guests can catch and keep enough panfish for a fish fry on site!

For more outdoor fun we have a cozy fire pit with seating, picnic tables, basketball hoop, and, for younger guests, there is even an outdoor play area featuring a large multi unit swing set, teeter totter, climbing dome, and a jumparoo. With miles of walking, hiking and biking trails, there is no shortage of fun to be had!

Hidden Lake is a very private and remote property. The driveway is about a half mile long which sets us back from the small public road keeping it quiet and secluded, yet close enough should you choose to leave the property for other activities in or near the quaint PA town.
